Discover is full of titles I can't open
That's expected until you add a source. Discover reads AniList's public catalogue so there's something to browse straight away, but reading the pages needs a source you install. Open More · Sources, or see how sources work.
A source stopped working
Sources are run by other people and go down sometimes. Kuma notices when one starts failing and offers to move affected titles to a working source, keeping your reading progress. You'll see a banner at the top of your Library when that happens — tap Migrate All, or Review to choose matches yourself.
Backing up
More · Backup · Export .kuma backup writes a single file containing your library, categories, reading progress, history, and settings. Save it wherever you like in Files. Restore it from the same screen on any device.
Downloaded chapters aren't included — they can be downloaded again, and including them would make the file enormous.
Downloads and storage
Swipe a chapter to download it for offline reading. More · Downloads shows how much space they're using and can clear them all at once. Removing downloads never touches your library or reading progress.
Reading in private
Turn on Incognito in More and nothing you read is added to your history. It stays off until you turn it on.
Does Kuma sync between my devices?
Not yet. Kuma has no account system and no server, so your library lives on one device at a time. Moving to a new device is done with a backup file — export from the old, restore on the new.
